Foothills offers a unique opportunity to any student who wishes to earn an accredited Georgia High School Diploma by offering a full range of high school courses in a convenient, flexible self-placed format.  All classes are held in the evening.  Tuition is 100% FREE for students who enroll full-time.  All courses are mastery-based, which means students cannot fail a course.  There are no deadlines, so a student can take as much or as little time as needed to complete coursework.

The Georgia Academy for the Blind was founded in 1852 to serve the needs of Georgia’s students with visual impairments, including those with additional disabilities.  The GAB is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and offers day and residential programs, as well as outreach services and professional learning opportunities.

GNETS of Oconee is one of the 24 programs encompassing The Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support (GNETS).  GNETS supports the local school systems’ continuum of services for students with disabilities, ages 3-21.  GNETS provides comprehensive educational and therapeutic support services to students who might otherwise require residential or other more restrictive placements due to the severity of one or more of the characteristics of the disability category of emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD).  Students are referred by their local school system.  GNETS of Oconee serves Baldwin, Hancock, Jasper, Johnson, Washington, and Wilkinson Counties.
