Child and Family Guidance is a non-profit organization that is contracted with the Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide intensive in-home based services to children who are at risk of child abuse/neglect or have been removed from their home due to child abuse/neglect.
Other services include: homestead services, parent aide services, early intervention services, wrap around services, drug screening services, prevention of unnecessary services (PUP), and comprehensive child and family assessments.
Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline
The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. The hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with professional crisis counselors who, through interpreters, can provide assistance in over 200 languages. The hotline offers crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. All calls are confidential.

Circle of Love provides direct and support services to victims and their children through residential and non-residential services in their five-county area. COL works to raise awareness and understanding of domestic violence issues. COL serves Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Morgan and Putnam counties.

The Division of Family and Children Services’ (DFCS) Child Protective Services (CPS) After-Hours Call Center was established to ensure reports of child abuse/neglect are received, accessed and handled timely and efficiently during the times that local DFCS offices are closed.
Domestic Violence Hotline
The Georgia domestic violence hotline is an extensive telephone routing system to Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) certified shelters. Calls to the hotline are automatically connected to the caller’s nearest certified shelter based on the caller’s telephone number exchange. Calls may be made 24 hours a day. Programs accepting calls have access to language interpreter services.
Georgia Cares is the single, statewide coordinating non-profit agency connecting services and treatment care for child victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Georgia Cares serves any and all youth who have been victimized in the state of Georgia.
Prevent Child Abuse Georgia
The Prevent Child Abuse Georgia helpline is an information and referral line for people who are concerned about the healthy development of children and the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Callers can talk to a trained individual who cares and wants to help.

Project Safe offers a variety of services including prevention and education about domestic violence, 24-hour crisis intervention, and ongoing support. Project Safe also has support groups, online help for men, counseling, victim advocacy, and transitional housing.

During regular DFCS office hours, reports of abuse and neglect should be made to the DFCS office in the county where the child lives or the county in which the suspected case of abuse/neglect is witnessed.
